We have been so blessed with donations of dog food! 330 lbs to be exact. 80 lbs were donated to CAP Meals on Wheels and the rest went to Angel Wings Rescue.
Everyone that our President, Karen Gidderon, has spoken to about our Animal LOVE Drive have been the warmest, most kind people. You mention animals or pets and they light up. By donating to our Animal LOVE Drive you are blessing local rescues at Angel Wings Rescue and also that pets of those receiving services from Meals on Wheels.
We have not received any cat or kitten food donations. Because most of the rescues at Angel Wings Rescue are of the feline persuasion and Meals on Wheels facilitators also agreed the cat food would be great, we would like to inspire you to show some LOVE to the kitties.
Right now the animals at Angel Wings Rescue are eating:
- Powdered KMR Kitten Formula
- Royal Canin Feline Health Nutrition Babycat 34
- Purina Cat Chow Complete
