Big Brothers Big Sisters is a program that matches children with mentors to make a positive impact today in order to transform their potential for tomorrow.
Children and their mentor spend time together having fun, enjoying everyday activities once a week (at least 3 times per month). Whether they play catch, wash your car or go to a movie, these everyday moments impact a child and help transform their life.
This program gives an opportunity for Big Brothers and Sisters to be matched with a child at a local school. One hour per week, three to four times per month, the volunteer engages in various activities with the child, such as eating lunch, helping with homework, playing catch or just spending an hour sharing stories.
