As a community-based nonprofit agency since 1977, Community Home Health & Hospice‘s mission is caring for people at home. Find the right care at Community — home care (stay safe at home), home health (on the road to recovery) or hospice (comfort for the entire family).
The Hospice Care Center in Longview provides around-the-clock compassionate inpatient care to terminally-ill individuals and their families. The homelike center serves people who need symptom management, respite or end-of-life care, or whose family members are unable to care for them.
The 12 private patient suites invite guests to stay overnight. Visitors can relax, watch TV or share a meal in the cozy family room and community kitchen while children play nearby. Family, friends and pets are always welcome.
Our Hospice Care Center team (physicians, nurses, medical social workers, spiritual counselors, home health aides and trained volunteers) provides skilled nursing care, medications, equipment and bereavement support.
Medicare and Medicaid cover 100% of Hospice Care Center care as do most private insurers.
Hospice care requires a physician’s referral. Ask your doctor about Community Hospice.
